Bear River Lodge

This year, for our family vacation, my parents got a couple of cabins up in Christmas Meadows. It was SO nice! These cabins were pretty "posh"--granite, hardwood floors, stainless steel appliances, flat screen T.V.s, etc. And, the one cabin was HUGE! It was a lot of fun. Everyone but Josh and Nate were able to make it. (With a family as big as ours, it's hard to get everyone all together at the same time). We really missed having them, but it was great to have the rest of us all there. The highlight was probably the fact that Sara and her family got to be there too! (It really stinks that for now, they have to live so far away...........love you Sara!)

We spent the week four-wheeling, cruising in the "rhino" and on the motorbike, swimming, fishing, skipping rocks, making s'mores and eating! (We seriously had SO much food!) We played games, watched movies, played the Wii and just relaxed. The kids had a blast exploring, hiking, sleeping in the loft on the huge "love sacs" and just hanging out. I LOVE that my family LOVES spending time together. I feel so blessed to be part of such a close family. Oh the memories........:)

Thanks to Mom and Dad for making this possible--we love you both SO much!
