The last week of July, Belle attended a volleyball camp for kids at the local high school. She had so much fun! And that is really saying something--because anyone who knows Belle, knows that she HATES to sweat. And because most all sports (when actively played) involve sweating, Belle chooses to avoid them. So when she expressed an interest to participate in the volleyball camp, I was a bit skeptical.
But, she surprised me. She loved it! The camp went for 3 days. Belle would come home everyday and teach her little brothers and sister what she had learned--what the different hits were called, how to serve, set and spike. Jason has even become more 'cool' since Belle learned that he played men's volleyball in high school. That made Jason happy :). In fact, Jason even surprised her the last day of camp with her very own volleyball.
So, who knows? Maybe, just maybe, a little sweat won't kill her after all! LOL :) She's actually already talking about next year's camp..........
